Suzana Moreira, Founder
Suzana is South African, and her responsibility is the overall delivery and sustainability of moWoza. Ensuring that moWoza is providing value to her customers. Prior to setting up moWoza, Suzana worked on a number of mobile phone start-ups in Africa, volunteered for the Malawi National Association of Business Women and was co-founder of two previous start-ups. She gained experience as a programme management lead on various large scale multi-billion engineering programmes. Suzana holds an MBA (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) from Imperial College Business School, a Hons Bachelor Commerce (Finance and Strategy) from the University of South Africa and a Hons B.A. in Technology and Manufacturing from Manchester University. She has completed executive studies at Cambridge University.
Xadreque Fernandes: Lead: Customer Engagement
Xadreque Fernandes is Mozambican and has worked in the informal cross-border sector and at the World Trade Organisation. He works closely with the various Mozambican associations to provide meaningful information regarding changes in policy and custom requirements. He also facilitates training programs to moWoza’s agent network. He holds a Master of Science in International Trade Policy and Trade Law. Lund University (Trade Law & Trade Policy).
Muhammed Karolia: Lead: Supply Chain and Operations
Muhammed is Malawian and is responsible for sourcing and merchandising of products and dealing with the freighting companies. Muhammed has over 15 years working in supply chain and wholesaling of Fast Moving Consumer Goods in Malawi and Mozambique. He was responsible for running the operations of a Mozambique wholesaler for 10 years and prior to this he worked in Malawi for 5 years. Muhammed holds a degree in Computer Science from Compufield Computer Institute.
Fei Manheche: Lead, Logistics and Technology
Fei is Mozambican and will roll-out moWoza’s technology and integrate with the various mobile operators, suppliers back office and other relevant parties. Fei is an Internet of Things specialist and will developing solutions to smartly integrate security into the entire moWoza supply chain. Fei holds a MSC in Electronics Engineering from the University of East London.

Ashish Aggarwal: Growth Strategist
Ashish Aggarwal is assisting moWoza by solving the problems that occur at the intersection of business and technology. Ashish holds a MMM (MBA + MEM) degree at Kellogg School of Management and McCormick School of Engineering. Ashish worked for Yahoo! for 5 years where he led various teams for Yahoo!’s main revenue generating businesses including text and display advertising. He finished his undergrad in Information Science and Engineering in India.
Greg Molecke: Social Impact Consultant
Greg is responsible for the management and implementation of all moWoza assessments, including their preparation, implementation and follow-up. He advises on the assessment methodology, approaches, data collection tools, data analysis, reporting, and related documentation. He is a Ph.D Scholar and holds an MBA from the Grenoble Ecole de Management; and a degree in English, Philosophy and Economics Minor from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque in the USA.
Pule Taukobong: Strategic Advisor
Pule is moWoza’s first advisor. He is the Chairman and Founder of Africa Angels Network. Prior to that he was a Client Manager at Investec Asset Management (IAM) in New York, where he was responsible for providing a high level of service to Institutional Clients. Within Investec, Pule was a Private Client Portfolio Manager and Wealth Manager, offering investment advice to High Net Worth Individuals. He comes from a strong Information Technology background, where he majored in Development Software and Information Systems at the Durban Institute of Technology in South Africa.
Eran Dror: Digital Technology Consultant
He brings to the team a wealth of expertise about moWoza’s mobile and API deployment. His years of experience in the startup world means he understands not only usability design, but the actual building and management process, and is helping moWoza build a winning team and process. Working as a UX designer and Director of Product for the past 9 years, Eran designed a Smart TV interface for a Fortune 500 company, an enterprise Dashboard for Bitly.com, a TV search-engine for SetJam (recently acquired by Motorola), and VC/Angel investment tools for Gust, among others.
Ladipo Oyesomefun: Financial Consultant
Ladipo is moWoza’s strategic financial advisor. Ladipo has over ten years experience advising major corporate, accounting firms and their consulting arms. He specialises in financial modelling, financial due diligence and buy/sell side advisory services. Ladipo is an alumni of the Coller Institute of Private Equity at London Business School. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Imperial College Business School, Imperial College London. Ladipo is a qualified chartered certified accountant and is also a member of the Securities and Investment Institute (MSI)
Simao Tsakane: Governance and Transparency Consultant
Simao is moWoza’s Mozambican governance and transparency consultant. Simao is a Researcher and a Lecturer and works at the University of St. Thomas Of Mozambique as the Research Centre Director and is the cofounder and Managing Editor of the African Journal of Governance and Development. His research interests cover cross-cutting Socio-Economic and Development issues in several areas of social sciences, including governance and development, Southern African political economy, migration studies, political communication and comparative government. Simao has a chair at the St Thomas University of Mozambique.
Victoria Ferris: Sustainability Consultant
Victoria offers moWoza a wealth of sustainablity expertise for the Bottom of the Pyramid. She has worked internationally and promoted innovative mobile applications for micro-finance and micro-insurance in India utilising mobilising mobile telephony as an effective tool of development. Her experience includes delivering programmes for the World Microfinance Forum and the Global Humanitarian Forum in Geneva. Victoria holds a Masters in Environmental Business Management from Oxford University, is a First Class Honours graduate from Trinity College Dublin in Politics; Sociology and holds an additional Diploma in Economics.
